Enchanted Manor: Old World European Wedding Inspiration

Today we are so excited and honored to share with you this incredible inspiration shoot. Ashley Lynch of Festoons & Flourishes put everything into her own words and we feel that it gives this incredible, nostalgic and dreamy shoot the perfect description.

"Inspired by sophisticated old world details, this styled shoot was meticulously pieced together as an homage to the timeless love stories of a bygone era.

The setting is the Grosse Pointe War Memorial, located on the edge of Michigan’s Lake St. Clair. This historic manor house set the stage for an intimate affair, complete with elegant florals, romantic candlelight, glowing stone fireplaces, and an over-the-top tablescape.

While white, steel blue, and dove grey served as the main color palette for the day, it was the added touches of silver on the tables, gilding in the carved ceilings, and the cut-glass dishes holding sugared truffles and fresh berries that brought this vintage-inspired shoot to life.

Crafted by a dream team of Vendors based in Michigan, this shoot feels whimsical and dreamy, while keeping the execution realistic and tangible. Brides who have one foot in the past and one in the present will find these images compelling, as they evoke the rich and timeless beauty of old love stories…only told in a new way."
